It is nearly six months since Juanjo announced that he was stepping down<br>

of activity and new maintainers were announced, but since then there has<br>
been near silence.  There is little mailing list or git commit activity.<br>

Do the new maintainers need any assistance from the community?<br>

Do we need more or different maintainers?<br>
<br>
Could the current maintainers at least give a status update on their<br>
short-term and long-term plans for ECL?<br>
<br>
I'm not volunteering for the position, but I am willing to help get things<br>
moving again.<br>
