They do not need to learn new languages or experiment, but to get things done. On a more relaxed environment with less competition we could afford to start with new tools; right now we cannot.</div>

If anything, this shows the real problem: software is not something for _one_ person to master, but for a community to understand and deliver. My knowledge is not going to vanish and whoever gets in as developer will have it as a backup and help if need be.<br>
