Just an update. I am now finishing a rough documentation of ECL, updating the most critical sections<div><br></div><div>* Naming of C functions and types</div><div>* Proper description of the new features (MOP, external formats, etc), with implementation-dependent details.</div>
<div>* Prefixing of all exported symbols (functions, variables, types) to solve conflicts with third-party libraries.</div><div><br></div><div>This is kind of critical because it will fix the API for the future, avoiding me having to change names later in the near future. Old names will still be available with #define ECL_LEGACY 1</div>
<div><br></div><div>I expect I should be done in a couple of weeks, point at which I will produce a release, even if there are known performance problems, which should be addressed in the coming months.</div><div><br></div>
<div>Please comment on the new manual. Most of what is mentioned above is already there <a href="http://ecls.sourceforge.net/new-manual/">http://ecls.sourceforge.net/new-manual/</a></div><div><br></div><div>Juanjo<br clear="all">
