[Ecls-list] Maintainer status update

Hi all,

It is nearly six months since Juanjo announced that he was stepping down 
as ECL's project lead (Oct 7).  In the following month, there was a flurry 
of activity and new maintainers were announced, but since then there has 
been near silence.  There is little mailing list or git commit activity.

Do the new maintainers need any assistance from the community?

Do we need more or different maintainers?

Could the current maintainers at least give a status update on their 
short-term and long-term plans for ECL?

I'm not volunteering for the position, but I am willing to help get things 
moving again.
