My God, it seems I will have to get more active in maintaining this ASDF
mess. I had expected things would not be touched in critical aspects but
unfortunately this is not the case. The good thing is that with the new
TRAVERSE API we can construct _again_ our own application builder. The bad
thing is that I hate that this has to be done _again_. Apologies for the
inconvenience.
