[Ecls-list] emacs polling forever

< How old is this version of Slime? This sounds like a problem that was solved by Tobias Rittweiler not so < long ago in Slime/CVS

I downloaded te latest slime from cvs but the same thing happens.
This is what I get in inferior-lisp buffer:
