Hmm, looks like this version of GMP does not support that particular Alpha
processor or got confused when configuring. Can you try configuring with
--enable-slow-config ? This gives more liberty to the GMP library when
configuring itself. Otherwise one might have to get a better version of the
library, a more recent one -- though I have been advised to move towards
MPIR, which seems better supported and is binary compatible.
