[Ecls-list] Merge in progress: UNSTABLE!

Ok, the source trees are now merged and I can continue working on both the
new and old versions of the compiler simultaneously.

The result should be that ECL builds by default with the old compiler,
breaking nothing new. However I can not guarantee that, which is why
automated tests will be conducted throughout the day and night of today and
I will verify the results tomorrow.
