[Ecls-list] Windows 32 / 64 bit experiences

Hi,
I have some trouble with the current version of ECL and the MSVC compiler
(Windows XP, current free MSVC tools).
When building on an Intel 32 bit system, ECL doesn't even start, giving this
error:

 "Internal or unrecoverable error in:
 not a lisp data object"

The same version of ECL runs fine using the MinGW compiler (on a 32 bit
system), but has similar problems when trying to run it on a 64 bit system
(ECL doesn't even start).

Is anybody of you able to  successfully run the current ECL on a 32 bit
Windows machine, using MSVC?
