Please if anyone can check the problem of building ECL from src
statically using MinGW on Windows (XP). Discussed on the usenet forum
before.
using msys:
./configure --disable-shared (ok)
But at "make", it goes through until almost the end and then start the
errors which are mainly: undefined reference to _imp__cl..., it's like
the cmp and the libecl.a have problems "communicating" with each other
during the "make" process and that results in errors and failure to
build. This problem occurs with all available ECL versions and all
version on MinGW and msys. The problem even occurrs when using Cygwin.
Thanks
