[Ecls-list] Severe GCC bug, temporary fix produced

Hi,

I have spotted a problem with GCC 4.2.3 in AMD64. Some code is
miscompiled when using -fstrict-aliasing. If you want to check it out,
it's bug #36255 in GCC Bugzilla.

The solution seems to be removing the flag -fstrict-aliasing from the
default configuration. You may activate it yourself if you trust your
version of the compiler. Version 4.1.* does not seem to have this bug.

I have already committed this change.
