[Ecls-list] Merge done, CVS/git remain unstable

Hi,

I have finally completed the merge of the code I had for handling
signals and for Unicode streams. Both implementations may be
incomplete, and will evolve in the following month(s). People are
welcome to test and contribute to this code.
