I'm using 8.12.0 on Linux/x86 configured like this:
--with-system-gmp --enable-gengc --enable-boehm=system
--enable-longdouble --without-cxx --enable-debug --enable-threads
--with-__thread --enable-unicode --without-x --without-clx
