Hello all

This is my first posting to this list, so please excuse
any social errors I make.

I am trying to use (pipe-open "/bin/bash") but I'm
not getting the results I expect. I expected it
to work like the clisp (make-pipe-io-stream) function.

What exactly does pipe-open do? It seems to start
a bash session which then competes with ecl for the
terminal, that can't be right, right?

Hopefully, I'm just missing something, otherwise can
somebody put me on the correct track?

thanks in advance
Lee
