[Ecls-list] alpha-unknown-netbsd1.6.1 (patch-current-exp) does not build

Hello,

first off, the changes in the infrastructure for
the configuration now detect (after a trivial patch to
configfsf.guess) the architecture correctly! This is
great news for me for the next versions.

For some reason, I can't find ecl-0.9d from sourceforge,
but the patches (patch-current-exp) apply cleanly to
ecl-0.9c, so I tried building the current sources as
follows:
- untar ecl-0.9c
- apply the patches from patch-current-exp (8 Jan 2003,
10 o'clock MET (more or less))
- apply my personal patches to work around issues local
to the system I have a shell account on (no
access to /sbin/sysctl and an outdated version
of texinfo), nothing to do with ecl itself.
- configure with (the SHELL stuff is necessary because
bash has some issues with dynamic linked libs,
	IIUC)
	./configure --prefix=/home/pcrama/pkg \
                --with-boehm="SHELL=/bin/sh" \
                --with-gmp="SHELL=/bin/sh" SHELL=/bin/sh ; \
- make with ``gmake'' (GNU make on NetBSD).
This fails with the following message (last lines copied
from my terminal window:
if [ -f CROSS-COMPILER ]; then \
        touch ecl_min; \
else \
        gcc -o ecl_min c/cinit.o -L./ libecl.a -lgmp -lgc -lm;\
fi
sed -e 's, at ecldir@,/home/pcrama/pkg/lib/ecl,g' < compile.pre > compile.lsp
ln -s -f /home/pcrama/ecls-track/ecl-0.9c/src/cmp/sysfun.lsp ./
if [ -f CROSS-COMPILER ]; then \
        ./CROSS-COMPILER < compile.lsp; \
else \
        ./ecl_min < compile.lsp; \
fi
Segmentation fault - core dumped
gmake[1]: *** [ecl] Error 139
gmake[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pcrama/ecls-track/ecl-0.9c/build'
gmake: *** [all] Error 2

Can I do something to help get ecl-current working on Alpha +
NetBSD?

Thanks for an already very nice Common Lisp!

Philippe Crama
