[coleslaw] Further development plans?

Dear all,

now that this mailing list has been started, we may as well use it ;-)

I would be interested to know whether anybody here has any plans or 
ideas for the further development of coleslaw? Development on Github 
seems to be dormant, although there are a range of open issues and pull 
requests. But perhaps, if somebody cared enough to get this list 
started, there are some ideas floating around?

On the one hand, coleslaw works, and there is something to be said for 
its minimalism. On the other hand, there are still a couple of things 
that would be nice to have. (My personal favourite feature would be an 
announcement bar, similar to a MOTD.)

What do you all think? And why are you on this list in the first place?
