Hi, I'm sorry it took me so amazingly long to get back to you on this; I've been having email difficulties. I like your plan, and would gladly contribute. All the cl-utilities code is public domain, and you may use it with my blessing. I've put in a lot of time polishing the code and documentation, so you should probably use the stuff from cl-utilities instead of writing your own. I still maintain cl-utilities, but it's so stable these days that I haven't even touched it in months. -Peter
