I'm interested in cl-typesetting as a replacement for things I normally use LaTeX for, as I'd prefer to have a normal programming environment available. Is there some kind of generic document describing the construction of documents with cl-typesetting? The examples are nice and all, but they don't really show the virtues of cl-typesetting's approach to creating documents. Have there been efforts to create extra packages: - Is there a package that makes cl-typesetting equivalent to the expressibility in LaTeX (things like the picture environment)? - Is there an environment that helps you create slides (like beamer for LaTeX)? - Is there a package that mimics the standard LaTeX style for articles, reports, ... I do not use LaTeX but I believe the first two are not tough to program with CL-PDF/CL-TYPESETTING. The idea of style taxonomy is under development in YstokHelp PDF module but it is on a very preliminary stage. -- Sincerely, Dmitriy Ivanov lisp.ystok.ru From amalawi at gmail.com Tue Dec 21 07:43:22 2010 From: amalawi at gmail.com (Ala'a Mohammad) Date: Tue, 21 Dec 2010 11:43:22 +0400 Subject: [cl-typesetting-devel] cl-typesetting documentation In-Reply-To: References: Message-ID: I've seen some thing resembling what you need (but it is only the a minimum) check the documentation directory under http://www.fractalconcept.com:8000/public/open-source/cl-typesetting/ Ala'a Mohammad On Tue, Dec 21, 2010 at 4:27 AM, madnificent wrote: > Hello, > > > I'm new here. ?I'm interested in cl-typesetting as a replacement for > things I normally use LaTeX for, as I'd prefer to have a normal > programming environment available.
