Hello.

I just commited the Ron's patch, improved it by the nonblocking-ssl-cal function suggested by David here:
http://common-lisp.net/pipermail/cl-plus-ssl-devel/2010-February/000176.html.

It is tested on SBCL by the test provided by mr gzip4ever (also commited).

I left the *blockp* unchanged. Untill we decide to remove the Lisp BIO completelly, there is no sence to make more broken.

Sorry, the test is commited as is, i.e. sbcl only. It of course would be better to create clozure version, but I can't work on it today anymore.

Also sorry it took so long to commit the patch.
