I have the intention, as part of a more general action of the Debian i18n Task Force to build and possibly upload a non-maintainer upload for gclcvs in order to fix this as well as all pending translations for the debconf templates. Such changes are always harmless, which explains why I safely consider building NMU's for such issues even though they're obviously non critical. However, letting l10n-related bugs sleep in the BTS is simply lowering the chances that your package interaction with its users may be done in something else than the English language. The schedule for the NMU (in case it happens, that is if you agree with it or if I don't receive any answer in 2 days) is roughly the following: 07 Mar 2007 : send this notice 10 Mar 2007 : build the package and upload it to DELAYED/0-day send the NMU patch to the BTS If you intent to upload yourself, I suggest waiting for two days anyway as some translations could come in soon. I will then subscribe to the Package Tracking System for gclcvs and follow its life for 60 days after my NMU in order to fix any issue potentially introduced by my upload. Let me know, as soon as possible, if you have any kind of objection to this process. If you'd rather do the fix yourself, I will of course leave the package alone. Same if you have reasons not to do the update now. -- -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... So this is a great time to jump on the bandwagon :-) * The Wiki is open for business: http://trac.common-lisp.net/movitz/wiki * The IRC channel is #movitz on irc.freenode.net. * I have more or less migrated my primary development environment to SBCL and SLIME, and so I made the effort to polish the Movitz tools for this setup. See http://trac.common-lisp.net/movitz/wiki/MovitzAndSlime * Some recent developments are: Much better &key argument parsing in (compiled) functions, improved floppy bootloader, VGA graphics (http://ccgi.bealbywm.plus.com/blog/2007/03/07/vga-in-movitz/), and improved keyboard driver by Shawn Betts. Reportedly, Mr. Betts has also successfully implemented preemptive thread switching. * My own development focus currently is to invent a reasonable mechanism for waiting/blocking. The current busy-looping nature of movitz kernels is clearly the biggest wart on the system. * While I have nothing concrete to show for it, I have been thinking that adding/porting Movitz to 64-bit x86 would be very interesting. (Not to mention there is a window of opportunity now while our main competitor Microsoft is struggling to port their legacy systems.) This would be a good time to do a trial upgrade of your existing databases and try to incorporate this release in running systems. There may still be bugs, but we don't anticipate any major changes. (reported by Eric Marsden) + bug fix: declaring local loop variables to be of a range-limited type such as (SINGLE-FLOAT 1.0 2.0) no longer causes a compile-time error. (reported by Andras Simon) + bug fix: >= and <= gave wrong results when used with NaNs. (Some NaN bugs remain on x86-64.) + bug fix: the #= and ## reader macros now interact reasonably with funcallable instances. + bug fix: type-checks for function arguments were compiled using the compiler policy settings of the wrong lexical environment (in 1.0.2 and 1.0.3). + bug fix: SHADOW accepts characters as string designators, as required by the spec (thanks to Eric Marsden) + bug fix: fixed GC safety issues when foreign functions are called with non-base strings as arguments + bug fix: more consistent error output for fatal-compiler-warnings, like reader errors + bug fix: functions with proper names were showing up as NIL in backtraces (reported by Edi Weitz, regression in 1.0.2) Files: 731fbf20ee1394be336a6dd32f72516c 771 devel optional sbcl_1.0.4.0-1.dsc b8d1b0fe0a2baedd74b5744f36fda949 4500972 devel optional sbcl_1.0.4.0.orig.tar.gz 0a1f9b68c2bf2128f43067ee2d7cdbed 29611 devel optional sbcl_1.0.4.0-1.diff.gz 1bcd825702cd065f4f8d26b404c55ab7 1488516 doc optional sbcl-doc_1.0.4.0-1_all.deb b860dbc06e4564aab3c890a8a9db537c 3778752 doc optional sbcl-source_1.0.4.0-1_all.deb 77bd2ffe5898ff52faf1e2c3b1e8bd39 8889936 devel optional sbcl_1.0.4.0-1_i386.deb -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFGCM/011ldN0tyliURAs5MAKCn9PGCTOnEYaLIo1gN1J+AvjlnzwCfWe8X kAU1qwBRPo/4VtEb6OCYG5g= =ggLZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Accepted: sbcl-doc_1.0.4.0-1_all.deb to pool/main/s/sbcl/sbcl-doc_1.0.4.0-1_all.deb sbcl-source_1.0.4.0-1_all.deb to pool/main/s/sbcl/sbcl-source_1.0.4.0-1_all.deb sbcl_1.0.4.0-1.diff.gz to pool/main/s/sbcl/sbcl_1.0.4.0-1.diff.gz sbcl_1.0.4.0-1.dsc to pool/main/s/sbcl/sbcl_1.0.4.0-1.dsc sbcl_1.0.4.0-1_i386.deb to pool/main/s/sbcl/sbcl_1.0.4.0-1_i386.deb sbcl_1.0.4.0.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/s/sbcl/sbcl_1.0.4.0.orig.tar.gz From pvaneynd at debian.org Tue Mar 27 11:32:03 2007 From: pvaneynd at debian.org (Peter Van Eynde) Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2007 11:32:03 +0000 Subject: [cl-debian] Accepted cl-html-template 0.9.0-1 (source all) Message-ID: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Format: 1.7 Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2007 07:31:47 +0200 Source: cl-html-template Binary: cl-html-template Architecture: source all Version: 0.9.0-1 Distribution: experimental Urgency: low Maintainer: Peter Van Eynde Changed-By: Peter Van Eynde Description: cl-html-template - Common Lisp HTML Template processor Changes: cl-html-template (0.9.0-1) experimental;
