I am pleased to announce cl-launch 2.02, the "finger strain injury"
release. Wholly tested on 7 fully supported implementations and 5
different shells: clisp sbcl cmucl ecl gcl openmcl allegro (with
untested support for lispworks), bash, dash, zsh, pdksh, posh. It
features a new "direct executable" feature whereby you can produce a
standalone binary without a wrapping shell script, currently only
available with ecl, but hopefully one day for clisp and sbcl too
(though this will require patching upstream implementations). All
implementation backends otherwise allow to produce wrapper shell
scripts that will either compile, cache and load fasls from updateable
sources, or dump an image for fast startup.

Share, enjoy, and produce more Lisp software that gets easily
integrated with the unix command-line!
