May I advice to use Gmane as a temporary solution?  At least if I
correctly understood how Gmane works, you should overcome the c-l.net
blacklist problem.

Seconded, even if I've never used other than sid/i386 (ATM, but I'm
planning to buy a ppc machine for development).
