Really? I found the effect rather nice in the printed glibc manual.
Anyway, I added a new patch making it optional, defaulting to
fixed-width of course.

* use lispcmt for code comments instead of @r
- Add ROMANCOMMENTS option to manual.
- Change all instances of @r to @lispcmt.
