[cdr-discuss] Various extensions proposed by vendors

Hi

I just got the periodic newsletter from Franz and there is an  
interesting (and very useful) function defined that I have been  
using, with different name and slightly different semantics: READ- 
LINE-INTO.

I would propose to publish it as a CDR, if the folks at Franz agree.

Note that, AFAIU, a portable implementation is not quite possible.
