[Bese-devel] UCW is slow ?

Hello,

I've installed ucw-boxset to try to use UCW. It was compiled for a *very*
long time with sbcl on Sempron 2500+ with 512 Mb. It started very slow too
(comparing to RoR, Django). It succesfully started but it was not hard to
notice that it works slow too (I mean simple examples with counter e.g.)

The question is why it so slow ? May be there are so many unimportant
components there by default ?
