This is indeed good news! :D Very good news for us packagers, I'm hepling with 
Gentoo Lisp packages a bit and I'm interested in getting UCW as a clean 
package easy to install and roll. rfc2388 0.9 is already on Portage [1] (the 
Gentoo package repocitory).
