Hi Gary,
I just wanted to follow up with you on this issue, because I recently
noticed that the same error occurs using the latest asdf-install with
CLISP 2.42 on Ubuntu 8.04 i686, in addition to the CLISP 2.44 NetBSD
-current AMD64 configuration on which I initially discovered it. The
same patch still works for the code at Darcs patch 161.
Or if this issue has already been addressed then I apologize: I had a
motherboard failure on my mail server a few weeks ago and lost about a
month's worth of emails so any response could have gotten lost there.
