Dear Douglas,

thanks for your suggestion. I committed something slightly different,
because ECL decidedly emits more serious warnings than it should.

I've never been able to figure out for _whom_ we're saving the irreplaceable
resources. If _we_ aren't allowed to use them, then the next generation
