BTW, I have three candidates for synonyms:

1. PARTIAL-APPLY (wrong grammar?)
2. PARTIALLY-APPLY (too descriptive?)
3. APPLY-PARTIALLY (used in GNU Emacs, natural for me)

Which is better or natural for English speakers?
