Message-ID: <70C7AF82-8786-4311-863F-4B78FC7B5881@gmail.com>
I have a new Common Lisp project that I would like to request hosting
for. It is called "cl-applescript" and it's a simple interface to
AppleScript which currently supports CCL and SBCL. I'd like to apply
a permissive BSD-style license for it.
I currently have a project hosted on common-lisp.net called c2ffi
under the username ddickison. If I could get cl-applescript hosted
also, I feel it would have some value to the CL community. I am using
darcs for version control so I wouldn't need CVS or SVN.

Hi, I'd like to create a new clnet project called LOOM (Lisp, Object-

into multiple packages, and also makes a bunch of functions generic
(like mathematical operators) to allow them to be extended (like for
interval arithmetic).
My account on clnet is 'gpfeil'. Thanks.

I'm not quite sure which key you mean. I assume you need the SSH key,
which I have attached.
If there's anything else you need, let me know.

Hi Greg,
Your project sounds interesting; Are you aware that there is already a
Lisp(-ish) system called LOOM (http://www.isi.edu/isd/LOOM/). It is an
ontology / knowledge representation language and is apparently
registered to USC. This probably isn't a real problem but you might
want to change the name of your project to avoid confusion...

Subject: [admin] Request for project: py-configparser
Message-ID:
Hi.
I've just finished a smallish library for parsing, writing and
managing configurations stored in Python ConfigParser module
compatible configuration files (which looks strikingly similar to .INI
files). It will be named py-configparser after its name in Python:
ConfigParser.
Asking around on #lisp, Xach and several others expressed their
interest to have the project stored publicly in a common-lisp.net
project. As all my projects, I'll license the code under the MIT
license and the module will be ASDF loadable. The module has no
dependencies on other projects apart from maybe a unit testing
framework.
I hope this is enough information for you to decide upon the request.
Thanks in advance!
bye,
Erik.
