Thanks for reporting this.  Turns out we've hit the max number of
repositories that can be served via cvsd.  Actually, I think the limit
is the fact that repositories are being passed on the command line. 
Anyway, I've fixed this for ECL but I'll have to deal with the bigger
issue, too, though that shouldn't affect your ability to checkout from
CVS.
