I'm currently talking with one of the onShore people about possibly
uploading their uncommonsql package to the common-lisp.net web site so
that it may have a home for community development. It's looking likely
that I'll be getting a CVS repository dump from them before too long.

Here's the relevant project info (I don't have a member list as of
now...its unclear as to whether or not the original maintainers will
want to continue working on it):

UncommonSQL, a database abstraction layer for Common Lisp providing both
a functional interface as well as a CLOS object relational layer. The
software is a fork from MaiSQL, and has been developed for a few years
by onShore, Inc and it is released under a MIT/X-like software license.
