Recent instability of the mailflow

All,

Due to an upgrade of Exim, mails may have been stalled or rejected over the
past two days: The configuration of mailman2 which has worked as-is for
ages, stopped working with Exim 4.96, which was installed this week. It
took me a bit to understand the error Exim was throwing and the fact that
the mailing list software was causing this problem.

Another reason to move to Mailman3: it will use a completely different
configuration.
